I'm a human being with two X chromosomes, a Mom, and a Vermonter transplanted to Massachusetts for the warmer winters.  I work a day job, a part time job on my day off, and find time for writing by giving up television and some sleep.  (Seriously, the last time I saw a live TV broadcast was the finale of LOST.)

 

I read semi voraciously, about 100 books per year, and enjoy SF, Fantasy, Romance, Philosophy, History, nearly anything YA, and the occasional book that is none of the above.

 

I write nearly as widely, from picture books to adult SF and non-genre.  Most of my stories, however, and all novels to date, are YA SF.
